We envision an Istmo de Tehuantepec where women have an equal and leading voice in the decisions that shape our communities, especially as we face social crises such as violence, forced displacement, femicide, migration, and organized crime. We respect local dynamics and support community autonomy, seeking an impact that is culturally respectful and that keeps alive the everyday spark of caring for and defending the territory. We also want children and young people to know their territory, feel connected to it, and have the opportunity to thrive there.
