Progress on the project

Dear community,

Hoping that you are doing well, we wanted to tell you about the activities we have carried out related to this project.

As a foundation, we carried out training on sustainable construction in a community near Valparaíso, attended by about 40 volunteers, in which the extension of a neighborhood club was built with natural materials. We are also in the process of building a greenhouse with recycled materials from nature.
Both projects are being useful for us, as we are learning for the future to be able to turn our Ludoteca Merced into a 100% sustainable space in economic terms and responsible for its impact on the environment.

Thank you very much for being part of this,
Stay safe!

Situation of Families Report

Dear community,

Hoping that you are doing well, we wanted to keep you informed of different activities that have been carried out for the benefit of the families affected by the Valparaíso Fire in Cerro Merced since the last time we contacted each other.

Despite the critical global health situation, we have contributed our grain of sand by helping to raise awareness about healthy habits for the confinement, holding online music workshops, donating electronic devices in good condition and internet access, and maintaining the celebrations of Children´s day and also the day of the Deaths, with educational activities for children and families of Cerro Merced.

We want to emphasize that this couldn´t be possible without the great help that you give us, and for that, we thank you.

We hope you keep staying safe,
Thank you again.

Ludoteca Merced updates

Dear community, hoping that you are doing well, we want to share with you some activities that we have carried out at La Ludoteca since the last time we wrote to you.

In Chile, the confinement situation continues, so we have persisted in holding the Music Workshop online, but aware that there were some children who couldn’t connect to a computer due to lack of resources, we began a successful campaign where we managed to donate 26 operative computers and cell phones that were given to children who needed them, both to carry out their school work and to attend activities that have been carried out at La Ludoteca.

Also, to commemorate Children's Day, we took a tour of Cerro Merced sharing songs, laughter, gifts and much much love with all the pertinent health precautions.

As you can see, despite the circumstances, La Ludoteca hasn’t stopped delivering smiles and love to the little ones. And we can't wait to meet face to face again.

Thank you very much for making this possible.
Stay safe!
