Objectives / Activities 1) Develop a working model sustainable homestead based on village life in Oaxaca. 2) Foster self-sustaining businesses that support women, families and local economies. 3) Preserve and promote biological diversity. 4) Protect cultural heritage and traditions. 5) Promote and support community-wide projects that foster social-environmental sustainability 6) Promote and support projects that improve domestic health 7) Augment household food self-sufficiency and community food sovereignty. 8) Engage local people and returning migrants in sustainable community development. 9) Support education and training for sustainable management of local initiatives, organizations and businesses. 10) Support and promote fair trade initiatives and collective marketing of village-made products. 11) Establish access to information on alternatives in health, economy, agriculture, society, etc.
