End of the year Street Party

As the year came to an end and summer arrived in Rosario, we thought it would be nice to celebrate with a street party, so, we did. We talked with our neighbours and for a couple of hours we closed our street for cars and filled it with colour, dance and people.

During the party, every program had their moment, where they received a diploma and showed off what they had been doing during the year. When it came to our coders, they showed a brillant app they developed to help the staff prepare the afternoon snacks, with recipes and tips.

The rest of our programs also had their moment during the day to show the results of the year and to have fun playing outside, feeling safe and owning their future!

The next couple of months will mean planing time for our staff as we prepare for an exiciting new year, full of new challenges and with many surprises to come. Stay tunned!

Season's End Street Party

As the year is coming to an end and summer is aproaching Rosario, we thought it would be nice to celebrate with a street party, so, we did. We talked with our neighbours and for a couple of hours we closed our street and filled it with colour.

Our Hockey girls surprised us with a beautifull poem they wrote and shared with everyone where they summed up their experience through the year. Being part of a team meant leaving disagreements behind, setting commong goals and working together to get them. They all leave home feeling loved, and full of new learnings.

The rest of our programs also had their moment during the day to show the results of the year and to have fun playing outside, feeling safe and owning their future!

Learning from Champions

The past months have been full of excitement, as we organized the 2nd edition of the Happy Cities Festival, where we invited the whole community to discuss what makes the city a happy place for all of us.

During that festival, youth and specially our girls had a special role, as they participated in all of the talks and round-tables and then gave their feedback to the Local Government General Secretary and the head of the Rosario National University. This experience was truly empowering as they had a voice and a platform to share their thoughts and vision.

Also, after the Rio Olympics, we received an inspiring visit as the Gold medallist Cecilia Carranza visited the girls of Hockey Junior & Hockey Power and spent a few hours chatting about topics that interest them: what is success, what is happiness, how to overcome obstacles and the importance of having dreams and following them. She taught us an invaluable as she said that if you want to go fast, then go alone, but if you want to go far, then go with a team.

We invite you all to become part of our team so that we can all go further!
