Mission

We work towards holistic care and optimum rehabilitation outcomes for every orphaned child. We promote, support, advocate and act as Catalysts to achieve these objectives. We are an unstoppable force inspiring and channelizing action to bring about sustainable social change.

Programs

CSA works for capacity building of adoption agencies in rural areas, grass root sensitization, and Adoptive Parent Support. We have also helped move 50+ children from CCIs into adoption stream so far, where they are now with loving families. We are now working on taking this project on a larger scale across the country. However, a large number of children who do not get adopted due to various reasons, are shifted to Child Care Institutions (CCI). CSA's approach is to provide family like care, for every child, if not a family. Thus, CSA works closely with CCIs, focusing on a holistic approach to child care and optimal rehabilitation outcomes. We continue to make a valuable difference to 3200+ children across 60+ child care institutions in 4 states (Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Odisha) that we support. With time CSA realized the need to provide support to the children to become self-dependent as they leave CCI at the age of 18. In 2016, CSA has started a Bridge to Livelihood and Aftercare Program. The program helps children prepare for life outside the CCIs after the age of 18. It covers career counseling, training, access to job opportunities and support in this very critical part of their lives. Thus through adoption or holistic care at CCI, CSA tries to make every child a happy and contributing member of the society.
