Mission

Uhambo is dedicated to alleviating poverty for persons with disabilities in Africa by promoting human rights, increasing economic empowerment and advancing quality of life. Uhambo's holistic model includes promoting social inclusion, increasing economic development and advancing quality of life for persons with disabilities by removing barriers of access in rural areas, townships and settlements of Africa. Uhambo provides smart appropriate designs of wheelchairs, delivers support services and/or products and advocates for policy change for persons with disabilities.
