Project fully funded!

Hi there!

We want to say THANK YOU all so much for your continued support these last few years. With your assistance, we have been able to help enrich the nutrition and financial lives of villagers all over Uganda. To date we have given out seedlings and suckers from mango trees, various banana trees, avocado trees, mulberry bushes, strawberry plants, raspberry bushes (those didn’t work but we tried!), cashew nut trees, star apples, guava trees, soursop trees, bread fruit trees, jackfruit trees, multiple varieties of lemon and orange citrus trees, amongst others!

We are now proud to announce that our fruit tree project has now been fully funded and we will be closing the donate option to this project on GlobalGiving.

You are all AWESOME donors, and I am sure you will find some equally fabulous other projects to contribute to!

Hi All

Unfortunately, this report is to inform you that Michael (Arnold) Recently passed away.

After his parents death, Michael fell in with a bad crowd and made up a lot of poor decisions. These decisions unfortunately caught up with him and cost him his life. He was 19 years old. He lives behind three young children, and his brothers and sisters.

He was buried in the family plot next to his parents on March 25.

I am including pictures of David, Flavia, and Angela that were taken at the burial. These children have lost a lot. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Books for House of Hope!

We are happy to inform you that our library program has overflowed onto House of Hope, and we've been able to provide them with a huge truckload of books!

The COVID-19 quarantine is still having a huge impact on Uganda. And it is drastically reduce the type of sporting and recreational activities that the kids are allowed to participate in. Having these new books, makes the days a little bit brighter, keeps their active minds busy, and feed their imaginations.

We are anxiously awaiting the day when things will return to normal and the kids can resume their studies, netball, soccer, and general activities of childhood. But until then, books make everything better!
