Our activities on May fulfill with mobile clinic services to Bangli an Buleleng region, Peer meeting commemorate to Kartini Day and World Tobacco Day. We also continuing our services at Pasar Badung, Sanur and ALC.

Mobile clinic this month conduct at Bangli in Sekardadi village and Buleleng at Banyupoh village. Mobile clinic in Bangli conducted in association with Bangli Health Department and Bali Obstetrics and Gynecology Association. At this mobile clinic, we only serve cervical and breast cancer services and reach more than 150 people screen by VIA. We hope continuing this corporation in Bangli region that can make more comprehensive services to people living in remote area. Mobile clinic at Buleleng was our follow up visit after the enthusiast visit on 2018. The enthusiasm of the community still high and we also conduct the services together with Buleleng Red Cross. From these activities 241 people received health services, 167 people received lab test for STIs, 199 people accessed breast cancer screening and 205 people accessed visual inspection via acetic acid (VIA) test for cervical cancer screening.

Commemorate to Kartini Day, we held peer meeting discussion about breast and cervical cancer. We conduct the commemoration lately because on April was the month with political election issues. We afraid that our activities link with election campaign. On May, we also conduct peer meeting in commemorate to World tobacco day. We spread the information about the dangerous of smoking in Pasar Badung. YRS as a health centre in traditional market has a responsibility to make market environment clear from smoking. After discussion, our staff and peer spread the information especially to visitor to more promote our services and to stop smoking market area.

Progress Report Activity on March 2019

Our location services back to Badung Market after the Grand Opening of Badung market and inaugurated by Indonesia President. We continue our services at ALC as a feasibility study and elderly services at Banjar Dangin Peken as collaboration with our donors in Sanur clinic.We commemorate International Women Day with peer discussion and invited by Australian General Consulate to join their event.

After waiting for construction for 2 years, we finally returned to providing services at the Badung market after a grand opening and inaugurated directly by Indonesia President’s Joko Widodo. The service we will provide remains the same as before. In this new Badung market, YRS get a smaller place than before the fire and at Tiara Grosir. In the grand opening sessions, our clinic became mini Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in association with RSUD Wangaya to prepare. However, we keep the spirit providing services to the beneficiaries to create a healthy generation.

Commemorate to International Women Day, we held peer meeting discussion about reproductive rights. This is the right times to commemorate International Women Day as aa YRS services promotion in the new Badung Market. After discussion, our staff and peer spread the information especially to visitor to more promote our services and more increase people awareness about the important of women sexual and reproductive health for their future life.

YRS also join International Women Day in Australian General Consulate. Through Direct Aid Program (DAP), Australian government has helped our organization especially in mobile clinic program since 2013. In this event we promote our organization and achievement. Hopefully we can raise more donors to more sustain running our programs.

Mobile clinic this month conduct at Bangli in Undisan village. From these activities 120 people received health services, 26 people received lab test for STIs, 26 people accessed breast cancer screening and 26 people accessed visual inspection via acetic acid (VIA) test for cervical cancer screening.

This month we continue our activities with mobile clinic, peer discussion about stunting and also preparation for moving to Pasar Badung Market.

Mobile clinic on February was conducted at Bangli in Apuan village. Communities enthusiastic very high with 101 client visits, 61 people access VIA, 67 STI test, 41 people access breast check. Even this is our first visit in this village, with early education about reproductive health before the medical services, with high enthusiastic shown that we successfully delivered awareness to the communities that far from health provider.

In line with Valentine Day, we conduct services at ALC. Like the last visit, people around ALC really enthusiast with our services. We still assess the needs of ALC communities for our services. Hopefully, we can consistent deliver reproductive health services to ALC and people around.

Not only for women at productive age, we also provide services to elderly community at Sanur in Dangin Peken village. This services in association with Dhana Cooperation as our supporter in Sanur village. We will continue this services every month in line with our vision to creating a healthy generation.

February 4th is World Cancer Day, when organizations and individuals around the world unite to raise awareness about cancer and work to make it a global health priority. This year, it’s estimated that nearly 8 million people worldwide will die from cancer. Because of this, YRS keep force to spread women cancer information to market community. To get more deeply understanding in market community about cancer, we collaborate with peer and constantly give education to increase awareness and change attitude and behavior to better understanding about the nature of cancer and prevent die from cancer.
