HURRICANE MARIA RELIEF

Puerto Rico & Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fund
In 2017, Hurricane Maria's powerful winds and torrential rains caused massive damage across the Caribbean, destroying homes in Puerto Rico, Dominica, and the Virgin Islands just two weeks after Hurricane Irma passed through the region. Initially, this fund provided relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine, and is now supporting longer-term assistance to help residents recover and rebuild.

One year on from Hurricane Maria, this project will continue to help the affected communities in Puerto Rico and Dominica, recover, rebuild and rehabilitate. The program will meet both islands' urgent and ongoing needs, and provide access to safe water; psychosocial and mental health support; household roof reconstruction; livelihood opportunities for income generation; and Disaster Risk Reduction practices and solutions, for communities affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and Dominica.

MEXICO EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund
On Sept. 19, 2017, Mexico City and surroundings, including Morelos and Puebla, suffered devastation from a 7.1M earthquake. Hundreds were killed and countless homes, schools, and community buildings were destroyed. This followed an 8.1M quake in Oaxaca and Chiapas on Sept. 7. This fund was created to provide immediate relief to survivors in the form of food, shelter, water, and medicine. In addition, it is now supporting longer-term assistance to help residents recover and rebuild.

HURRICANE IRMA RELIEF

Hurricane Irma Relief Fund
Hurricane Irma was one of the strongest storms ever measured in the Atlantic and caused catastrophic damage across the Caribbean. This fund will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. All donations to this fund will exclusively support any necessary relief and recovery efforts from this storm in the U.S. and the Caribbean.
Emergency Response to Hurricane Irma and Maria
International Medical Corps disaster response experts in the Caribbean and Florida are providing much-needed assistance and identifying pressing needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria. Hurricane Maria was the third massive hurricane to hit the Caribbean this year and continued the destruction where Irma left off, further destroying homes, crops, and livelihoods, and leaving thousands without access to electricity, clean water, and communication lines.

All donations to this fund will exclusively support relief and recovery efforts from this storm.
