There are urgent and growing gaps in access to quality care around the world. Inspired by Our Credo, J&J CareCommunity is our global social impact platform designed to advance equitable access to quality care through championing nurses and community health workers.

During natural disasters and the following recovery period, we collaborate with trusted partners—such as the American Red Cross, Americares, and Heart to Heart International—to provide medicines, medical supplies, and mental health support for health workers.

All current J&J employees are eligible to participate in this program. J&J will offer a 1:1 match for each employee donation.

Americares Response to Hurricane Melissa

Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica as one of the most powerful Atlantic storms in history-bringing 185 mph winds causing widespread destruction, destroying homes, damaging health facilities and cutting off roads. Americares is deploying an emergency response to the region to support in restoring health services, protecting vulnerable communities, and building resilience for the future.
