July 9, 2026 (LONDON, UK) — Marilise Saghbini has been appointed as Managing Director for GlobalGiving in the UK. In this role, Saghbini will help strengthen the organisation's work across the UK and Europe and expand opportunities to connect donors with high-impact, locally-led organisations around the world.

Saghbini joined GlobalGiving in 2024 as Director of Strategic Communications and later expanded her leadership responsibilities. She has helped shape organisational strategy, strengthen GlobalGiving's brand and communications, deepen engagement with donors and nonprofit partners, and lead cross-functional initiatives that support the organisation's long-term growth.
Prior to joining GlobalGiving, Saghbini held senior executive and communications positions across nonprofit and private sectors, including at the French Chamber of Great Britain and BusinessLDN; alongside board roles at SPANA (Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) and La French Tech London. She brings extensive experience in strategic communications, fundraising, partnerships, organisational growth, and brand development.
