Something we often talk about in the Warner Music Australia office is how powerful music is in shifting and creating culture, and how ultimately it makes a positive dent in the universe.

In the spirit of this and in the lead up to the festive season this weekend, we would like to give you a $50 voucher to donate to a charitable cause. We’ve shortlisted some causes that are important to us, to help make your decision making a bit easier.

Thank you for your support, time, energy and ideas in 2022. Here’s to another great year ahead of breaking new artists and reaching new heights.

Support Act
Support Act is a charity, unique in Australia, helping music professionals who are facing hardship due to illness, injury or some other crisis that impacts on their ability work in music (including COVID-19). We have helped in many different ways since we were founded in 1997. We help music professionals of all kinds: artists, crew and music workers. We treat every request for help confidentially and make no judgement about people's circumstances. We provide financial assistance (which we call a grant), advice and practical assistance. We also offer a free, 24/7, confidential counselling service called the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline, as well as developing lifesaving mental health prevention education and training programs which have helped thousands more music workers to deal with the psychological impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brighter Future For Australian Indigenous Youths
Several projects are trying to tackle the social gap among the Indigenous people in Australia. Our project is focused on the youths of Indigenous communities in Australia. These youths face many issues that lead to them dropping out education and/or ending up in the criminal justice system. Our objective is to enhance their skills through ways they can relate and helping them to become ambassadors for change within their community and Australia.
Australian Red Cross
Australian Red Cross supports the most vulnerable people in our local communities, here in Australia and across the Asia Pacific. Your donations helps us address the impacts of some of the world's most challenging humanitarian problems: forced migration and displacement, natural disasters, entrenched injustice and more.
Australia Bushfire Recovery Continues!
This project is restoring 5 hectares (12 acres) of rainforest in north-eastern Australia that was severely burnt in the Australian bushfires in 2019-2020. It will remove invasive weed species that have inundated burnt areas and restore much needed habitat for endangered wildlife including the Koala. This project supports Indigenous people of this region and local community affected in the bushfires. The world watched as this land burnt and it is our chance to restore this beautiful rainforest.
Change the future of young high-potential girls
This project will provide a high-potential young female living with disadvantage the opportunity to change her future. A scholarship for our well-renowned 3 year Leadership Program will be awarded to 40 young Australians. Combining corporate mentoring and financial relief for Years 11, 12, and the first year of further education/training, this program builds valuable leadership skills and substantially improves the Year 12 completion rate and secures pathways to university or employment.
