Uplift a Child International has rescued 7 abandoned orphan children on Aug 10, 2023, who were living all by themselves at the courtesy of neighbors in Bunyakiri Village of South Kivu, Province in Democratic Republic of Congo. Both of their parents were buried behind their little hut on the mountain. These children need the help of generous sponsors for their survival. In Bunyakiri Village, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, seven orphaned children struggle to survive after losing both parents. They rely on neighbors for basic necessities & urgently need support for survival and education. Uplift A Child stepped in to help these children but generous sponsors are needed to provide resources for a stable & hopeful future. By sponsoring these children they will receive the education and care needed to grow into independent and successful individuals.
Our approach to uplifting each child through education is unique. Once enrolled in our program, each child receives the resources needed to attend school from kindergarten through high school. We take a holistic approach to their success, ensuring these seven children are provided with food, clothing, education, and a caretaker to look after their needs.
We will educate these children, allowing them to come out of poverty and change their economic status through 12 years of educational help. We monitor their growth monthly and provide solutions to current issues. To make this possible, we need your help.
