Extending more Support to community !!!

By Florence Nakayi | Project Leader

As we continue to empower more families in Balawooli Kagumba village, we have also managed to extent support to the communities by donating food stuff and school materials to the children in the communities. We were able to donated food to the communities as we monitored the multiplication of our goats..
The goats are grately increasing and still going on with our program of selling the male goats to keep young girls in school from different households. As of last month the the kids being sponsored through our goats project went back to school and they are progressing really well.
Cissy who was abondoned with six kids didnt have any hope of seeing her children get into school but through the goats project and thread of  life one of her child Esther 8 years old was able to start school at the beginning of this year. She says may if her kids acquire education, they be able to change her family poverty situation. As the project continues to grow she is hopeful even her other kids will get the opportunity to join school.
As Thread of Life women Empowerment sometimes it gets hard when progress is slow because of limited resources, but we always purpose make change however small it is. As always we are always grateful for your support and generosity. We are always happy to share our small progress in the communities..
