160 Kids in Our Growing Youth Soccer Program

In June 2025, Habitat & Education Promotion organized a 5-week Summer Youth Soccer Camp in Omaha, Nebraska, engaging over 120 children aged 4–13 with the support of more than 25 volunteer coaches and mentors. The camp offered structured training sessions, team-building activities, and mentorship circles that promoted physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence. With wellness education, healthy snacks, and a strong sense of community engagement, the program culminated in a vibrant final showcase and overwhelmingly positive feedback from families.

Since our last update, we continued our commitment to youth health and inclusion by hosting 3-week indoor soccer events in October, serving over 40 additional children. Alongside the training, we also provided soccer training equipment to four schools and donated team jerseys to another school, strengthening partnerships and expanding access to quality sports programming.

With these added efforts, more than 160 children have now participated in our soccer and wellness initiatives this year—each receiving encouragement, mentorship, and an inclusive environment to grow.

Looking ahead to 2026, our vision is even bigger.
We are planning to expand our youth soccer program to reach over 300 children and to deepen collaboration with more than 10 schools across Omaha. This growth will allow us to offer year-round developmental programming, more school-based engagement, and greater support for families seeking positive, healthy activities for their children.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.
