This quarter was particularly meaningful for Fondation Tous Ensemble as we celebrated 10 years of service in southern Haiti. Patients, local organizations, community leaders, and authorities joined us to recognize a decade of commitment to rehabilitation, disability inclusion, and access to care.
From June through August, FONTEN provided 3,577 clinical rehabilitation consultations, serving an average of 355 patients each month. Our team completed 200 new clinical evaluations, fabricated 83 orthotic devices and 2 prostheses, and provided 66 clubfoot interventions. We also distributed or loaned 30 assistive devices to people who needed additional support for mobility and daily activities.
Our work continued beyond the walls of the rehabilitation center. We organized two mobile clinics reaching approximately 60 people and began providing rehabilitation support to children with disabilities at La Charité orphanage, as well as to residents of a home for older adults.
We also celebrated World Clubfoot Day, bringing together 23 participants to raise awareness about early treatment and the importance of continued follow-up. The event included a special graduation ceremony for children who successfully completed their clubfoot treatment, celebrating this important milestone together with their families.
During the quarter, FONTEN participated in the National Rehabilitation Symposium in Port-au-Prince, joining key rehabilitation stakeholders from across Haiti to exchange experiences and strengthen collaboration. We also continued investing in the future of rehabilitation by welcoming physical therapy and occupational therapy students from FSRL and UNIFA for clinical learning experiences.
