Since we started fund-raising last year we have managed to raise all funds for YTV bursary. A total of 90 young people have benefitted in over a dozen projects all focused on professional grade media training and mentoring, this included projects with British Council, the Royal Shakespeare Company and EU Lifelong learning programme. The objective and priority of the organisation is now focused on education and empowerment of children and young people across the developing world with first project based in the slums of Kolkata , India at IPER, Kolkata - http://www.iper-india.org.in/project.php . We will now raise funds only for RIGHT NOW - our digital poverty initiative in Kolkata, India and later rest of the south asian sub continent. A big thank you to all who supported YTV and continue to do so.
YTV will now work as a showcase platform and a volunteer backbone for RIGHT NOW ,our project in the slums of Kolkata.
