The overarching goal of this project was to restore hope and smile to the most vulnerable children among them orphans both boys and girls who have been directly affected by the conflicts in Democratic Republic of Congo. At least 200 orphans and other most vulnerable children would receive school kits composed of school bags, books, uniforms, shoes, etc and school fees for one year.
Many children have been facing challenges due to the ongoing conflicts in Democratic Republic of Congo. Most of these children have lost one or their two parents, others are separated with their parents during the wars. Another category of children are those living in families with lower social and economic situation. All this situation has increased the vulnerability among the children in DRC.
As the long-term impact, we want these children to be educated so as to become the most powerful weapon to help change the current world and become change-makers for a sustainable peace in the world.
