The project " Generosity for Orphans & Most Vulnerable Children" was set up in order to give hope and smile to the orphans and other most vulnerable children in Goma city. At least 200 children should benefit from the implementation of this project.
The project wanted to respond to the big challenge that children directly affected by the conflicts in North Kivi have been facing. As many of them lost their parents during the war and others are living with most vulnerable parents, they haven't been going to school for many years. And those who joined schools are facing challenges of, for example, the lack of school kits, school fees, etc.
As a solution, we are raising funds to the children schools kits and pay them school fees sor as they can perform well their education and enable them to have stability at school. These children after being educated, would help change the current world adn become change-makers for a sustainable peace in DRC and in the Great Lakes region. Because most of children who are joining armed groups, are those childre who are not going to school.
