Greetings, Partners and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for your continued support in advancing health equity among underserved populations in Mwanza, Tanzania. Your commitment has been instrumental in helping us move closer to achieving several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

• SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all, at all ages.
• SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: Reducing disparities in access to healthcare and social support, particularly among vulnerable and marginalized populations.
• SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: Making cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable through responsive community health systems.
• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: Strengthening global partnerships to support and achieve the ambitious targets of the 2030 Agenda.

Since our last report, I’m pleased to share the following accomplishments:

Mwanza Community Emergency Response Project

1. Responded to 405 emergency incidents.
2. Served 607 individuals through pre-hospital emergency services.
3. Provided 10 smartphones to community first responders to enhance coordination and communication during emergencies.
4. Recruited 12 new first responders to strengthen our emergency response capacity

Street Medicine Project

• Conducted 12 weekly medical outreaches in busy urban areas and known street-dwelling zones
• Delivered medical attention and nutritious meals to 127 street-connected individuals.
• Provided social support, including shoes and clothing, to 152 children.
• Facilitated 3 referrals to higher-level care facilities and hospitalization

Bisou Bailey Medical Dispensary

1. Expanded reproductive and child health (RCH) services with the purchase of a new infant radiant warmer.
2. Hosted World Health Day 2025, offering free healthcare services, tests, and screenings to the community.
3. Provided healthcare services to 1,344 community members, including family planning and maternity care.

These achievements reflect our shared dedication to creating lasting impact and advancing global goals at the grassroots level. We look forward to continuing this important partnership with you.
