On 5th October, 2021 we celebrated another milestone in #healthcare delivery services under Tanzania Rural Health Movement. Six years ago, we launched a tent for wound care project for vulnerable communities aiming at providing solution to healthcare challenges among #street connected children in Mwanza.
The Honorable Quest of Honor Dr. Stefan Schulz (TRHM Board Member) took a great responsibility to officiate the new medical #dispensary which was named after our longtime partner Bisou Bailey Foundation. The facility will foster the development of street medicine program and pre hospital care services as well as supporting the communities surrounding the medical facility.
“In the three days in Mwanza we learned a lot about your valuable and blessed work, but also about #Mwanza and its charming population. We were welcomed so warmly and made friends. That’s how we can thrive as human beings in our one world that we’ve been given, irrespective of our beliefs, ethnical origin or home countries. All of us, we need to care for each other and give back to those who need it most”. Dr. Stefan Schulz.
Lastly, he handled over a private donation of US $ 5000 to TRHM for the specific purpose of maintaining and expanding the valuable services of the Bisou Bailey Medical Dispensary including ambulance services to support pre hospital care services in Mwanza.
