Thank you donors and supporters for continued support in construction of medical dispensary in Mwanza Tanzania. The following is the brief report for the fourth quarter activities.
The medical dispensary construction (structure) has finished 100% in the fourth quarter of year 2020 and equipment installation has started since then. Up to now the following equipment have been installed
The organization continues to mobilize the medical equipment and supplies for full functional facilities.
The registration process to the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children has started and we were visited by Council Health Management Team for inspection and recommendation. The team was impressed with the structure, available facilities and finally approved at District Level and forwarded their report to the Regional Level and finally to the MoH for approval letter before registration certification.
The building has provided space for office and dispatching centre for medical emergencies. The dispatching centre has started to operate from July 2020 where until Dec. 2020 a total of 31 calls responded (27 individuals were provided with free first aid services)
When the facility launches it will include 8 new employee and the facility will incorporate the free healthcare services to the street connected children and elderly people in Mwanza.
