Gratitude

By Tina Giuliani | Principal

Dear friends,

From the moment I arrived at Mano Amiga La Montaña, I knew I was accepting a responsibility that went beyond educational management. This school, which is dedicated to providing opportunities for children and young people in the rural area of Turgua to transform their lives, represents for me a symbol of hope, evangelization, and a beacon of light in the midst of adversity.

At Mano Amiga, in addition to providing a high academic standard, we also work to evangelize and provide tools to transform lives, accompanied by a daily meal, which helps them stay well and be able to study. Because "a hungry child cannot study."
Every day, we see how children, despite economic and social difficulties, arrive with a smile and a willingness to learn. Our commitment is to ensure that each of them receives a quality education that allows them to achieve their dreams and become agents of change in their communities.

One of the fundamental values of our school is solidarity. Here, every member of the school community—the benefactors and sponsors, the students, the teachers, and the administrative staff—works together to create an environment of mutual support.

I would like to highlight the tremendous support our benefactors provide, who, through the Padrino Plan, GlobalGiving, and sponsorships, are the driving force that keeps the entire project active.

Gratitude, respect, and commitment are values deeply instilled at Mano Amiga. We express our gratitude to our benefactors through hard work, making the most of their valuable contributions, dedication to our studies, and perseverance in our prayers of thanksgiving.

Thank you very much for supporting us. We continue to count on you.
