This October and November, two trainees benefitting from this project came to America. Their purpose was to speak at anti-trafficking events, spread awareness and tell their stories of hope and empowerment. They spoke in four different states and made a huge impact in the lives of the people they touched. They continually gave credit to yoga, for helping them to be strong, strong enough to change their lives, and strong enough to share their stories. They shared about the classes they teach to other survivors, and to children who have suffered trauma and how those classes allow them to give back and serve others out of their pain. They talked about how they can empathize with those children and teens, and what it feels like to help. We were so proud of them and in awe of their courage as they put the empowerment we work to instill at Transitions Global into practice.
While they were in Florida, they got to teach a class at a yoga studio and share with the students there. We have included some pictures below. Your support of this project makes what they and the other trainees are accomplishing possible. Thank you so much!
