FYF shares updates in Washington and New York
FYF Women's Center prepared for May 2017 graduation!
Dear Friends,
The Free Yezidi Foundation spent several weeks in Washington and New York sharing details of current FYF projects, new efforts, and continuing advocacy and raising awareness. Along with the women's center and children's center projects, FYF is also launching a justice project to provide Yezidi survivors with the opportunity to seek justice and accountability for their crimes.
And in May, another children's center and women's center cohort graduated from their three month course. Congratulations to all graduates!

Meetings in Washington included visits to the State Department, FBI, and think tanks. In New York, FYF made a presentation to the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women. The Trust Fund, which is administered by UN Women, has given a grant to FYF to support the work of trauma experts in the FYF women's center.
FYF is grateful to all supporters for continuing to provide invaluable resources that keep the FYF projects running smoothly!
Please see some photos of the recent FYF efforts, and thank you for all that you do.
Sincerely,
Pari Ibrahim
