From January 1 – October 28, 2025, we tutored 4,499 tutoring hours to 122 students in 19 states.
Jonathan reached out to
Children of the Night 09/19/24.
His social worker referred him to
Children of the Night tutoring.
Despite challenges, Jonathan continued his studies and stayed committed to the program.
In November Jonathan celebrated his 18th birthday and was eligible to test for the GED in his home state of Florida.
After 64 hours of tutoring Jonathan passed the RLA exam with a score of 165 (passing was 145).
Jonathan wants to be a
personal trainer and a professional security guard, and he uses
running and fitness as coping skills.
Case Managers continue to assist Jonathan with a scholarship for a security guard certification and plans for community college.
He was thrilled to participate in
Children of the Night’s high school graduation and continues to work with Case Managers to access higher education.
We have great hopes for Jonathan. It is truly a pleasure to watch him grow and develop into a fine young man.
