Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the World Patient Safety Day: Prevent Medical Errors project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned roundtable has not yet begun.
Across many healthcare settings, patients continue to face risks from preventable errors such as wrong medications, miscommunication, poor hygiene, and delayed care. Many individuals are unaware of their rights, leaving them vulnerable during treatment.
Without open discussion and shared learning, these risks remain, leading to avoidable harm and loss of trust in healthcare services.
This project is designed to host an outdoor roundtable on World Patient Safety Day, bringing together patients, community members, and health professionals. Through open dialogue, participants will share experiences, learn safer practices, and discuss ways to reduce errors in care.
With the right support, more people can gain knowledge, improve communication, and contribute to safer healthcare environments.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this program can begin and reach those who need better awareness on patient safety.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
