We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.
Since our last report we have launched Loop, the mobile application that connects Venezuelan migrant women with per-hour work opportunities to clean homes and offices in Lima, Peru. Today, Loop provides work to 45 Venezuelan migrant Women, they are our Socias Loop (Loop Partners). Loop clients are very satisfied with the service, they rate the service 4.8 stars out of 5. Our socias have increased their income by working in Loop while having a flexible job schedule that allows them to continue taking care of their children. Loop has trained in professional cleaning, biosafe protocols and environmental care more than 129 women both virtually and face to face.
We are also providing our socias with emotional and psychological support through our personal development workshops and coaching program. This safe space has been very well received by our socias who have more than once referred to it as “a great place to unwind, share and feel less alone”.
Loop’s mobile has more than 1000 users and more than 200 Venezuelan migrant women in a waiting list to become Loop Partners. Our dream is to start Loop in another cities in Peru and other countries of Latin America like Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico, to empower as much migrant women as possible.
We want to start everywhere this infinite lace of goodwill where all its participants commit to give the best, receive the best from the other, and repeat the loop. You are already part of it!
With gratitude,
Moraima
