Psychosocial Support Activities for Women&children

By Mariam Abualatta | Fundraising and International Relations Officer

Psychological support for women
Psychological support for women

Although this project has not yet received funding through GlobalGiving, AISHA Association team remains committed to continuing psychosocial and community support activities for women and children.

We continue organizing safe and supportive group activities in almost 186 displacement sites that help children express themselves through drawing, play, and creative learning, while also reducing stress and strengthening their sense of safety and belonging.

Women and caregivers continue to benefit from community support sessions that promote resilience, mutual support, and social cohesion within the community.

These activities represent an important part of the recovery process and help strengthen the psychosocial resilience of women and children living under difficult conditions.

However, the current humanitarian situation has made needs even more urgent, and psychosocial support alone is no longer sufficient without economic interventions that help families secure stability and meet their basic needs.

There is now a growing need for economic empowerment activities that strengthen the resilience and self-reliance of women, children, and their families.

Despite limited resources, our team continues working to maintain a safe and supportive environment for the most vulnerable groups.

Additional funding would help us sustain these activities, expand our reach, and develop more sustainable interventions that address both psychosocial and economic needs for affected families.
