The Quarter April’21 to June’21 was severely impacted by the 2nd Wave of Covid 19. Despite this the team worked with lot of enthusiasm and positive energy to ensure that we continue to serve of beneficiaries using alternate mode of delivery – Online training.
Success Stories
Shikha who belongs to a middle class family and wanted to learn Healthcare to work for humanity during the pandemic. She decided to learn Healthcare skills at SETU. After completing the course she started working at Prakash Hospital and is earning Rs 18000/- per month.
Her family has 4 members. Her husband works in a private firm with an annual income of about Rs.180, 000/-. It is difficult to meet the expenses of daily needs with the educational needs of two children in the family. Shikha wanted to share her husband’s responsibilities. Moreover she also wanted to be independent. Her family’s annual income increased by more than 100%.

For Ankita who belongs to a lower middle class family the pandemic was an opportunity to provide services to those suffering and joined the Healthcare skills at SETU. After completing the course she started working at Jeevan Hospital and is earning Rs 8000/- per month.
Her family has 6 members. Her father works in a private firm with an annual income of about Rs.192,000/-. It is difficult for her father to meet the expenses of daily needs with the educational needs of her sibling and ailing parents in the family. Ankita wanted to share her father’s responsibilities. Moreover she also wanted to be independent. Her family’s annual income increased by 50%.
