Setu Self Help Group: In beauty and sewing courses we try to motivate students to go for placements. Ladies who are not able to take up jobs due to their family constraints engage in self-employment.

We at Setu help them to earn more by getting work for them. In beauty course students went for Mehandi stall in groups to a society during Teej festival. Many of them earned their first income. It gave them motivation to work more.

In sewing course, ladies were given order of 200 pieces to complete. The work was distributed among them and was monitored by the trainer. In another center ladies were given order of bags. They also completed the job on time. Though it was a small amount but it gave the beneficiary a lot of satisfaction. Now they are keen to take up more orders.
