Pakistan is at a critical juncture where women empowerment initiatives are crucial, particularly in rural areas where women lack awareness and opportunities. Joy Foundation aims to empower these women, especially in light of the rising cases of rape, sexual harassment, and domestic violence. Many women in rural areas are unaware of their rights and tolerate abusive behavior due to lack of support and resources.
Joy Foundation seeks to give voice to these women, empowering them to take a stand for themselves. Given the complexity of these issues and the limited number of organizations addressing them, it's essential to focus on uplifting rural women. By providing awareness and opportunities, we can enable them to speak for themselves and tackle domestic violence.
Our goal is to empower rural women to become self-advocates, refusing to accept domestic violence and taking initiatives to protect themselves. With sufficient funding, we hope to launch this initiative and make a meaningful impact in the lives of these women.
