Dear friends and donors, we are happy to share with you the activities report undertaken during the last quarter.

.50 beneficiaries gained knowledge and skills on avocado agronomy and market (Local & Export) and climate change adaptation methods like mulching

.500 HASS avocado tree seedlings distributed to the youth

.The training on pig farming has increased the knowledge and awareness of the 50 beneficiaries about pig artificial insemination and its productivity, pig feeding techniques based on home leftovers, pig breeds adapted area

.The training on pig farming has increased the knowledge and awareness of the 50 beneficiaries about pig artificial insemination and its productivity, pig feeding techniques based on home leftovers, pig breeds adapted in Rwanda.

.They acquired skills heat detection (Estrus cycle) and basic skills about disease management and prevention.

.They are able to implement nursing care of piglets and weaners

. Beneficiaries participated in the study tours on piggery farms owned by local farmers within their communities

. 50 Piggery shelters constructed

.The beneficiaries trained on sexual reproductive health covered topics on: Family planning methods, sexually transmitted diseases, male and female reproductive organs

•.The beneficiaries were trained on reckless behavior and engaging in unprotected sex to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies

.The beneficiaries are able to seek assistance if any is pregnant to avoid carrying out risky abortions that are against the law

.The beneficiaries are knowledgeable about not engaging in sexual relations with immediate relatives (incest)

•They were also advised in the event one gets pregnant through incest, they can seek assistance from the police and the medical professionals in guidance with the law

.The beneficiaries trained on human trafficking and are able to identify different types of human trafficking and ways to prevent

The beneficiaries trained on savings groups and their importance to engage  in income generation activities
