Heightened security challenges in Tirah Valley have led to precautionary operations, prompting thousands of families to leave their homes for safety. As a result, over 1000 people are now displaced with limited resources. The situation is worsened by harsh winter conditions, including heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures. Many displaced families lack shelter, food, heating, and basic services, placing women, children, and the elderly at serious risk during this critical period.
More than 1000 families from Tirah Valley, Pakistan, have been displaced due to heavy snowfall and security operations. Families are stranded without shelter, food, heating, or education in freezing winter conditions. With no formal camps for evacuees, children, women, and the elderly face severe risks
This project will provide essential winter relief to the most vulnerable families in Northern Pakistan. By distributing warm clothing, blankets, food packs, and emergency shelters, we will help protect children and families from the extreme cold. The project aims to reduce the risk of illness and malnutrition, ensuring that children and adults stay warm, healthy, and safe during the harsh winter months.
The long-term impact of this project will extend beyond immediate winter relief. By providing shelter, warmth, and nutrition, we aim to reduce winter-related illnesses, malnutrition, and deaths, especially among vulnerable children. In the long run, this support will help stabilize families, allowing them to recover and rebuild their lives.
