Fayrouz, 13, and Hind, 12, live in the village of Taourout, in the Azilal region of Morocco, with their father, Nacer Saadounia (42), their mother, Jmia, and their two sisters, Farah and Bahija. All four girls attend school, which is located approximately 15 km from their village.
Their father suffers from a chronic illness caused by severe allergies. He works as a seasonal agricultural labourer, earning less than €6 per day. Due to his deteriorating health, he is no longer able to work regularly or provide adequately for his family. In addition, his monthly medical treatment costs around €20, placing an even greater financial burden on the household.
With no stable source of income, the family struggles to meet even their most basic needs. According to the father, poverty in their village is widespread and extremely severe, making everyday life a constant challenge.
Thanks to the generosity of donors who contributed to this humanitarian initiative, the family received essential food assistance and clothing for the children. These donations have helped ease some of the hardships they face, providing not only practical support but also hope and dignity during a very difficult period.
Every contribution, no matter its size, has made a meaningful difference in the lives of these children. Seeing them smile again is a powerful reminder of the impact that kindness and solidarity can have. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor whose compassion has helped bring comfort, hope, and a brighter future to Fayrouz, Hind, and their family. Your generosity has shown them that they are not alone.
