This project to build our Raptor Flight Cage had several stages and took longer than anticipated, but is finally complete. We first had to nail down the design. Then we negotiated with a several suppliers to get the best price. The materials for our Raptor Flight Cage were delivered in late December. The first Saturday in January, volunteers started building on a rocky hilltop. As the work days continued, it began taking shape, until it was finally complete in August.
Now we have a beautiful Raptor Flight Cage which was immediately put to use. All of the raptors we rehabilitate need time in the flight cage to get their strength and endurance back, before they can be released back to the wild.
You made this happen and we are very appreciative to all who donated. Next time you see a raptor in the sky, it might just be one that you helped return to the wild through your donation.
Thank you!
