Our Boxers say GIVING TUESDAY!!!
In its 6th year, Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) kicking off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
For the Wigglin' Home Boxer Rescue family, every day is a day of hope.
Hoping for good, kind-hearted, nurturing families to be looking for that perfect dog to join their family as they start a new year. Hoping that pup is one of ours.
Hoping we continue to expand with new business partners, volunteers and donor base.
Hoping for continued success winning respected titles for our organization as a whole and for individual volunteers.
We hope the work we do, and the stories we tell help shed light on the well-intended yet failing shelter systems in our country, irresponsible backyard breeding and poor care of the very animals that depend on us. While shedding light on those issues we equally strive to educate and work towards answers in a respectful manner.
Today, in particular, we hope donors find our organization credible and worthy of their donation. Today gives us hope we will be able to clear our current vet bills thus making room for more pups to enter into our care. Daily we have to turn away Boxers needing help, Boxers who have hours left in shelters. For so many it is, understandably, difficult to see pictures of Boxers in need- it is hundred-fold heartbreaking to stand in front of their kennels and have to walk away. To have to pick and choose.
Each donation makes it possible for us to open one more kennel and take a pup home with us rather than walking away. Know if you choose WHBR to receive your funds, we understand the trust you are placing in us and in turn the trust each Boxer places in us when it walks out of a shelter into our care. We do not do what we do half-heartedly. We believe in our cause, in our extended family of volunteers and adopters and in our donors who support us.
