Promoting Dignity Through Mobility
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Access to a suitable wheelchair can transform a child's life. It enables them to travel to school, participate in lessons, and engage with friends and classmates.
As part of this initiative, trained professionals are assessing each child to determine the most appropriate wheelchair configuration. This personalized approach maximizes comfort and mobility.
Families and school staff are participating in practical training sessions focused on safe usage and maintenance. These sessions help ensure that children receive consistent support both at home and at school.
Community awareness activities are fostering greater understanding and acceptance of persons with disabilities. Together, we are building a more inclusive future where every child can reach their full potential.

Creating Pathways to Learning
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Many children with physical disabilities face daily barriers that prevent them from accessing education. Through this initiative, we are working to remove those barriers by providing 100 durable wheelchairs tailored to individual needs.
The project team continues to conduct assessments and engage with families to understand each child's educational challenges. These consultations ensure that support is both practical and meaningful.
In addition to wheelchair distribution, school staff are receiving training on creating inclusive learning environments. Teachers are learning how to better support children with mobility challenges and encourage participation in classroom activities.
Regular follow-up visits will help monitor progress and address any maintenance needs. With donor support, children are gaining not only mobility but also confidence, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.

Supporting Children, Families, and Schools
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
This reporting period focused on strengthening partnerships with local schools, healthcare providers, and disability organizations in preparation for wheelchair distribution activities. These collaborations are essential to ensuring children receive comprehensive support.
Every child selected for the program is undergoing a detailed mobility assessment conducted by trained professionals. This process helps identify the most suitable wheelchair type for each beneficiary.
Training materials have been developed for caregivers and school staff to enhance their understanding of wheelchair safety, mobility assistance, and basic maintenance practices. These efforts help create a sustainable support system around each child.
Community awareness meetings are also helping families understand the importance of inclusion and equal educational opportunities. Through these combined efforts, we are building stronger communities where children with disabilities can flourish.
