As 2019 comes to an end, we love to reflect on the achievements and actions We Are Neutral has carried out to help build a better, more sustainable world. Through our carbon footprint, carbon reduction, and carbon offset work, we have helped over 100 businesses and residents understand and offset their environmental impact. With your help, we have expanded our environmental education and community outreach programs. We are so excited to share some activities from our year and to jump into a new decade full of more carbon reduction projects!
Environmental Education
Thanks in part to We Are Neutral’s participation in the Lucky’s Market Gainesville Bags for Change program, we were able to visit over 5 schools ranging from elementary to university level classes. We educated students on the carbon cycle, carbon offsets, and how they can get involved in their community and everyday lives to help the environment.
Community Outreach
In 2019, We Are Neutral was involved in over 35 events all across Florida with organizations and businesses to connect with people on sustainable solutions. We have continued to grow our own events as well having hosted a city-wide Earth Day Celebration at Depot Park to not only celebrate our planet but to teach others how they can take action to reduce their environmental impact. Our team is thrilled to be involved in such a variety of community events to raise awareness of our mission and further expand our environmental education initiatives.
We couldn't do what we do best without your support. As always, feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more about your environmental impact or how you can better understand, reduce, and offset your carbon footprint. We’re here for you, fellow Earth-Warrior!
