In the earthquake-affected region, many families are still struggling to access basic services. Rena* and her 5-year-old daughter, Eslem*, were among them.
Eslem* had never spoken. For years, Rena* searched for answers but couldn’t access the support her daughter needed.
After the earthquake, she reached out to our team. We stood by her side — helping her navigate complex bureaucratic barriers and hospital appointment systems, and ensuring she could access healthcare services.
With this support, Eslem* was diagnosed with autism and connected to the care and education she needs.
Today, the family still faces serious economic challenges. But as Rena* says, “All I need is for my daughter to have a better life.” The uncertainty of past years has now been replaced by a structured support plan guided by specialists.
