Health file for the elderly
With economic development, changing lifestyle and deteriorated aging problem,the rate of incidence and prevalence of chronic diseases is increasing rapidly such as high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary heart disease and cancer. It not only influences people's physical and mental health seriously but also increase the burden of their families and the society. Therefore, the prevention of the diseases in the community is significant. Leling regularly organizes some related activities in Ba Jiao Nan Lu. 20 health records for the elderly have been established and the body check services have been launched for a year.
During the checking, the staff is very friendly and usually talk with the elderly in order to realize their current health condition and eating habit.Thus, the staff can help them immediately when the level of the blood pressure and blood sugar is below the average. According to their initial checking results, the stuff will offer some useful information about disease prevention to the elderly. Each of the elderly will receive different health guidance in their daily lives based on their own physical conditions and lifestyle. It can remind them to tackle various problems in their daily lives. Furthermore, the staff patiently answer questions related to medical and health problems proposed by the elderly and then give them some scientific advice. It is beneficial for the elderly to have a better understanding of their health condition. The staff show enthusiasm towards those old people coming here for the first time and patiently explain the benefits of chronic disease prevention.
