Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the War Widows' Right to Maternal Health project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned maternal health support has not yet begun.
Across conflict-affected regions in Nigeria, many widows continue to face pregnancy and childbirth without access to skilled care. Loss of income, displacement, and stigma make it difficult for them to reach health facilities or afford services.
Without proper care, women remain at risk of complications such as bleeding, infection, and unsafe delivery, leading to preventable loss of life.
This project is designed to provide antenatal care, safe delivery services, and postnatal support through clinics and mobile outreach. It will also support referrals for high-risk cases and provide basic maternal health supplies.
With the right support, more widows can access safe care, reduce health risks, and give birth in safer conditions.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach women in urgent need of care.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
