Thank you for wonderful support of this micro project helping HIV+ young mothers feed their newborns. The work of the clinic is all volunteer and the financial support makes a huge difference. This clinic support is one of 94 micro-clinics supported throughout Peru that VIDA provides medical supplies to on an ongoing basis.

The San Camilo Home (HSC), a non-profit founded in1995 n the largest cloister of an old convent of the Camillus Monks, for the purposes of accommodating, accompanying and attending to people with HIV/AIDS living in extreme poverty, encouraging a path to health where the value of life is given the greatest priority.

We are grateful to all the donors. If you could share this project with one friend we can get closer to our project goal.

Gracias!

Thank you Global Giving Givers. Your support has been wonderful. We have shipped to Peru and Ecuador in the past few months. Your dollars are doing more than feeding babies. They are saving lives.

In addition our dedicated staff and local volunteers have spent the first week post the HAITI earthquake collecting, sorting and stacking donated medical supplies - delivering today - MLK DAY - the first 30 pallets destined for Haiti.

An approximate estimate of $550,000 value of the surgical supplies the doctors and nurses are so desperately in need of.

THANK YOU volunteers - your energy is amazing. Here on this sixth day we are hearing of survivors being pulled from the rubble. Our hearts and hopes go out to all those in Haiti - survivors and volunteers!

And a HUGE thank you to over 160 Global Giving philanthropists who have given to VIDA so far! Please feel free to give us feedback!
