ROAD continues to push forward with disaster recovery, training participants in construction, while Making Homes Home Again. Construction is a skill set that will always be needed. Even the best of homes will always have some level of repair and maintenance, so the skills we teach will never expire.
At the end of a long day measuring, cutting, installing, finishing...measuring, cutting, installing, finishing...etc there are visible signs of progress, accomplishment, and recovery. Smiles of appreciation, shoulders relax at ease, and often tears of joy that help was received.
ROAD serves the miles and hours it takes to help recover Oklahomans across the state who find themselves in a stuck position where they can not recover on their own. We come along side and provide the needed help to put families back into a safe and secure environment.
None of this is possible without volunteers, donors, and vocational trainees. We all want disaster survivors to have hope and together we are that hope one family at a time.
