Floods provide a multitude of experiences

Disasters from floods can be among the worst and highest cost to repair.  While any disaster can be highly destructive, a flood even in a small portion of a home, can result in damages throughout the home from humidty, mold, and contaminates.  When a home is not mucked out properly and then dried, it can result in damages throughout the entirety of the home.  It can be a common misconception that when the water has receeded that the home can be lived in again.  Following a flood, what appears to be a normal home on the outside can be an unlivable home on the inside.

Our disaster recover work sees all types of damages from extensive to minor.  Our vocational training program gives participants a taste of repairs that cover a lot of areas to include roofing (rafters, decking, shingles), flooring (piers, joists, subfloor, finished flooring), drywall (studs, insulation, drywall, texture), as well as fixtures and cabinets.  Our participants graduate from our program with a great amount of home repair experience.
