As displaced refugees, the women in Uganda's Acholi Quarter lack the finances to develop their own businesses and secure their own future. That's where Project Have Hope comes in. After providing vocational training, many women would like to start their own business using their newly acquired skills, but they lack money and the collaterel a typical lending institution would require. We help them establish sustainable business opportunities to promote economic stability. Whether it's capital that enables a woman to buy fish and rent a space at the market, or money to purchase a sewing machine for one of our vocational training graduates, we are there to support them every step of the way.
For just $25 you can help a fiercely determined mother carve out a small business and provide for her family.
