Launching a range of children's padded jackets

By Gerry Griffiths | Head of Development

Kids jackets with mittens for the littlies!
Kids jackets with mittens for the littlies!

We are still continuing to train women that we freed from slavery, and the programme is going incredibly well. In fact, we are now looking to open a new vocational school in western Nepal to help provide training to even more girls.  We are still in the very early stages of this project but watch this space!

We also wanted to let you know that we will be moving shortly onto the next stage of our social enterprise.  You may remember that we launched our online fashion business, Kathaa, last year selling adult down jackets.  Well, now we're excited to say that soon we will be selling kids jackets and we have our first photos of the range.  We hope you like them and similary to the adults jackets, 100% of the profit from sales will go to the charity to help more women and children in Nepal.  All our jackets have been made by the women who recieved our vocational training.

Visit our website if you'd like to find out more about our social enterprise www.nepalyouthfoundation.org.uk
