Cultivating Minds and Markets at Coretech Kamarie

By Jacqueline Audige | FOUNDER

As Coretech Kamarie enters its second year, our flagship Sustainable&ProfitableLivelihoodProgram(SPLP) continues to transform teaching and learning at CORETECH KAMARIE.

By bridging classroom theory with practical agricultural enterprise, our learners are gaining the skills needed to build self-reliance, foster teamwork, and drive sustainable development in their communities.

Our pedagogical approach integrates agribusiness into problem-based learning, turning the school's agricultural plots into a living laboratory.

  • The Power of Teamwork: Charone, a first-year student in Accounting and Management, highlights the tangible impact of our fieldwork:
  • "Teamwork is one of the most important practical skills in mathematics that the Agribusiness course has provided me with, because there is strength in unity. When we work together, tasks are completed more quickly and efficiently."
  • Applied Problem-Solving: Educator Ms. T. Octavie demonstrates how agricultural and real-world market challenges bring abstract concepts to life:
  • "I link each academic concept to a real-world management challenge. For instance, when teaching the 'unconscious,' I show students how consumer psychology and advertising drive product sales and revenue. Similarly, we explore self-employment as a practical solution to unemployment."

Looking Forward

By combining hands-on agribusiness with rigorous academics, Coretech Kamarie is equipping students with the teamwork, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills needed for long-term self-reliance.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our GlobalGiving donors for making this transformative learning journey possible.

Thank you for helping our students grow, lead, and succeed!

With sincere gratitude,

Jacqueline T. Audige and the CORETECH Team
