This reporting period, 12 violence survivor received support through KOSHISH. The females were initially identified with psychological issues and mental health condition. However, upon counselling, they shared history os surviving violence ending up with mental health condition. most of them survived polygamy in wish to have a boy. while others survived rape, intimate pertner violence, physical abuse.
6 of these females were referred by community based organization and rest were coordinated with their wards and municipalities.
The females were focused towared safe space where they can ventilate their emotions and express freely. Their physical examination was another priiority along with basic food and shelter. Most of them stayed silence and isolated. However after two weeks, they gradually began to shwoup themselves and also assisted KOSHISH staffs in household chores. Two of them had auditory hallucination due to which they were in close monitoring. The females are also linked with their family for family conversation once a week. 8 of them have beenr reintegrated in their family.
