On behalf of the St Vincent de Paul Society of NSW, we would like to again extend our deepest gratitude to the generous supporters of the Vinnies COVID-19 Appeal. Funds raised through this project so far have raised $3164, allowing Vinnies to provide vital assistance to families struggling in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Here at Vinnies, we have seen a significant increase in the amount of people presenting to our services in need of vital assistance, many of whom have never needed to ask for help before.
As we enter a recovery phase and begin re-open across the community, the impact of COVID-19 will endure for many. People have lost income, businesses and livlihoods and the difficulties presented by the pandemic will be ongoing. Your donation to this project means that Vinnies will be able to continue to support those in need, helping them to get back on their feet.
By donating to this project, you have helped to create a network of support around those experiencing disadvantage. Whether it be assitance with rent or utility bills, provision of food, vouchers and hampers or emotional suppport and guidance, Vinnies will continue to serve those in need thanks to your support.
